you can't hide your child in the closet from the fear of ladygaga leading them astray. you have to allow children and each other the freedom to think and decide something for themselves for their own reasons. everyone who listens to ladygaga is not gaga. just because you think she is crazy for whatever reason doesn't mean that others do or should think that way too...
the idea is to make them become immune to such things and that only happens once/if they are exposed to such environments. there are far more evil things and characters out there who can influence the youth. these characters have the right to do what they are doing. similarly you have the right to not listen to such music. but to limit your child or sibling from their right to decide something on their own is raising them mentally handicapped. you don't get to decide for them if they have or not in them the ability of self preservation. you give them the chance to prove that to themselves and you by allowing them a glimpse of the real world outside.

I work with children sometimes...they don't know. Giving them exposure pretty much means, inoculating them with filth.

I used to think that music was harmless until I heard 10 year old girls singing to britneys "If you Seek Amy" ....I didn't know the song title was that but it sounded very much like she was singing " F. U. C. K. ME"...doesn't it?

Now how do you explain to a 10 year old the subliminal message in that song? Don't you think songs like "ride your disco stick" have some effect on a cognitive level on little children? They are not cognizant or conscious of the real meaning of such sexually overt songs...they are children. You shouldn't just let them watch or listen to whatever the heck that is on the radio or television.

Yes, it is isn't it! I'm really glad you appreciate this article. People tend to forget that the culture we follow now in the west was nothing like the one in the past. Theres no ghairat, respect and decency left in these pop stars and in turn influencing our kids. Which lead to devastating consequences of the society, we need to be reminded constantly to remain within the folds of decency and have zero tolerance for the trash shown in the article.

you don't have to teach your children what f u c k means because they can't be brainwashed by the meaning of something they don't understand.
first of all i don't know why the board of approval allows such trash to be released in the media because when that song came out i saw lots of adults chanting it not knowing what it meant. so obviously brittny spears wasn't trying to brainwash our children.
in order to be brainwashed by something there has to be something offered to you at the end. we as adults like the idea of sneaking out of the line of that which is considered appropriate by doing things such as listening to secretly inappropriate songs. that is something that some of us choose to do and some of us not to. if a child doesn't know what if you seek amy means they wouldn't be affected by it.
to make sure that eventually they are not attracted by trash like that you simply tell them the meaning of if you seek amy and the reason as to why it's wrong to chant it.

because if you forbid them from listening to trash like that, eventually curiosity will lead them there and when that happens they are on their own.
evil will always exist in a society. kill many birds with one stone by teaching your child the difference between right and wrong and the value and importance of independent thinking. they can be exposed to all forms of evil and manage to walk away mentally undamaged.

I was 5 years old and some kid said the word f'er to me and that same day I went home and said it to my mum in front of whole family. My mum was shocked that I picked up such a word. Its not only Lady Gaga influencing kids. Don't forget the likes of 50 Cent, The Game, Snoop Dogg and so on. They teach it to the public, go out now and see whos listening to such profanity. You f this, f'in that, bang this bang that, smoke some good "£$^.

Ok if the likes of Britney Spears and Lady Gaga are not influencing the minds of children by what they are saying. They are surely 100% influencing the kids by the way they are dressing and acting. Little girls and boys look up to idols because of the amount of influence they have on the media. Children are bound to be curious and see what its all about. I know so many examples of people being influenced nowadays, for example 2 of my cousins, they were innocent decent kids at the age of 13 then they started listening to 50 Cent, Tupac and the lot. A few years later they were stealing heartlessly, smoking weed, drinking alcohol and walking around the streets in packs like "gangsters". I didn't know who they were anymore. I used to think 50 Cent and Tupac were legends in the world, I even smoked a bit because of their influence. That is a form of brainwashing don't you agree?

Yes evil will always exist in a society as its been from day 1 but you say let them learn for themselves yes? I say no we guide them until they are grown up. I know families of muftis, maulanas, hafiz and pious people. They take the television and any form of music away from their family and concentrate on the deen, they have ishq of islam in their hearts.

i was amazed to find out last year that a woman i know lets her 10 year old daughter shave her legs. peer pressure they reckon, all the other girls are doing it. mad!!

Peer pressure is a very big problem for children nowadays, many have I seen a kid fall due to peer pressure.

Only an "outspoken fashion statement"? Shes another puppet used to brainwash kids. These mullahs are deployed by your very own US and UK to infiltrate and destroy us. They are happy to recieve money day in day out and give us all a bad name. The likes of Omar Bakri, Abu Qatada, Zawahiri and Osama Bin Laden were all used as a forefront excuse to bomb the living daylights out of Waziristan, Afghanistan and other muslim countries.
