Generally speaking, a woman can manage a home in a better way than a man. The outside world's fatigues are the responsibility of the men folk as they are more stronger and open to those complications and difficulties.
A balanced society demands to have proper and relevent person at the right palce to perform his/her duties. A man is well suited for the outside world due to his physique and a woman is well suited in the four walls of her home.
In surah Rahman Allah taala describes the woman of the heaven in the following words:
حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَتٌ فِى الْخِيَامِ
Hur (beautiful, fair females) guarded in pavilions
but He said about the first two gardens
This means the women of the heaven are guarded in the four walls (pavilions), thus this suits the woman the most.
