Being civil in a debate shows your education and upbringing. If you cant be civil and listen to the other person's opinion, you will never learn. Give respect to your opponent even if you think he's wrong.

than we have to define civilised first.
since murderers and invaders claim to be representing civilisation there is no need to be civilised with these uncivilised people.

The general definitions of civility dont change, brother. None of us here are actually indulging in bloodshed. We are just sitting behind keyboards and sharing opinions. It makes no sense to abuse people just because their views differ from yours.

And I too have crossed limits sometimes. One's emotions cant always be controlled. But I have always regretted it later.

well mr khalsawarrior i would agree with if my country wasnt invaded ,my people werent killed.why should i talk in a civil manner with people who think its ok that my country is invaded and people being killed?

lets say there is a word called civilisation which stand for people being understandable and tolerant, its not the case in nowadays world where the ones claiming to be civilised are the most uncivilised.

Baygham, you should have been the last person starting a thread such as this one. The way you insult Islam and its followers in your "civilized" way is far from what is generally understood of what "civilized" is.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.
