My family watches Zee TV, that's where the honeys are at . Years ago we used to watch "Godfather" which was Pakistani drama.

after 3.5 hours a day for 5 days a week for 2 years, the face zooming doesn't bother you at all.

I have gone through a long journey in my profession. We used to do all mathematical calculation manually even adding and subtraction etc. Then monster size mechanical calculator came in. To add three figures, it used to take 3 minutes with lot of noise. Then came along electronic Desk calculator with a very small memory. Then cam Monster Computers. I think it was 1967 or 68, an American Computer Institute in London advertised that they had a real computer for teaching. I took day off and went to inquire. The administrator of the institute showed me a large size cabinet probably 8 feet by 4 feet. He told me very proudly that the computer had a large memory of 8K. I was impressed by its 8K memory. Then in 70s the term "office automation" became popular. Around the same period the monster computer was shrunk by Apple to PC size. Data input was evolved from Card punching to DOS system by Microsoft. Then somewhere in the late 80s "Window" came in and computer kept its evolution from K memory to megabyte memory to Gigabytes and so on. There was no internet. It is the latest entry. Along with the evolution of computer, software were developed for every need.
You might know the history of computer better than I do. By repeating all this, I wanted to tell that I kept evolving too. You young guys are more knowledgeable and efficient in handling computers than me. It is good and it should be like this. I believe that every new generation is better, smarter and more intelligent. My 10 year old grandson knows more than I do. Many things I learn from grand kids. You guys are lucky that you have all these useful gadgets from the day you were born. When I tell my grand kids of my grad 1 or 2 stories of using wooden Takhti for writing instead of computers, they don't believe. You may not believe it too.

At the end I will give you one advice. "Keep changing with the change of time. Don't be stagnant. Whatever is normal today will become obsolete tomorrow."

Indian Dramas are kinda stagnant, with similar story lines, in every show. I don't mind it at all though

            BTW

Tsu Kalan Yast? khan zhaib, your parents are pretty young at 40.

dervaish, i recently saw a man being interviewed and he said the first computer he used was as big as the room they were sitting in (for the interview) and how little it could do. amazing when you look at them now.
i had a good role model for aging, my father. he kept up with all the latest information, very political but even enjoyed the lastest music.
