Peera this is a forum and part of the nature of forums is the concept of difference of opinions. We have to cater to all opinions (whether we like them or not). Since none of us are convening a milli jirga we can't pretend to represent 60 million Pashtun/Afghans. Manana

but didnt you guys wrote that people should have repsect for our religion and culture?yet there are people who blatantly disrespect us and there is no one to tell them about the rules and rregulations of this forum or is it only us to respect those people and act as ""how pashtun should be" while our religion gets bashed and we get disrespected the whole time.

I understand your frustration, and if you think anyone is attacking someone, feel free to contact me. We have rules set up which we expect everyone to follow. However, you have to understand we have hundreds of members and all our members don't think alike. If anyone insults Islam, or bashes Afghanistan/Pashtunkhwa, just PM me. You have yet to report anything. What you need to realize is we have Pashtuns who love Pakistan, and we also have Pashtuns who love Afghanistan.

If everything was as lovey dovey as you make it sound, we wouldn't be in this international mess. Whatever you witness here is exactly what you would witness on ground reality. Nearly everybody here is a Pashtun, and all of us are trying to understand each other.

i got a couple of warnings about my choice of words,so there is no rel freedoom of speech to me i guess.
but some users are constantly attacking Islam,Afghanistan,Pukhtane in a volgur way but they dont get the same treatement.

so i think than ive full right to use filthy language since its freedom of speech isnt it?or are the mods there to tell us "'how to behave as pashtuns".

if it was up to people like you pashtunwali would be defined by the legitimacy of every one else being fathered by the same blood line as yours. well..news for you. that is not how it works. good luck with your idea and don't think no one else will have that very same one as you. further more, you should give a nice picture of yourself to the admin and moderators to stick on the main page of this forum so anyone who does not meet the criteria can take a U-turn and not bother with this forum. and if you can't do that then i suggest they google "excess waste" instead. and if that doesn't sound like good idea either then i suggest you shut the **** up because you are ****ing annoying.

I too question about the actual background of some of the most prominent "negativist" posters - I'm not talking about Pakistani versus Afghan at all.
But I think some people can easily hide themselves behind usernames and claim to be this or that when their attitudes do not dovetail with how one would imagine Pashtuns to be.
I see GYE's questions as fair to investigate.
It doesn't mean anyone is guilty.
But the idea to figure out WHY there is such a campaign against traditional ways?
The aggressive bombardment by a few posters questioning nearly all of traditional values and belief systems seems curious.
I can't see how this type of person would last very long on the ground over there. I suspect they would be in the tiny minority.
Simply their voices here drown out others, so one is led to believe that they are a fair proportion of the people of the region.

I suspect their ideas would be dismissed as ivory tower and out of touch by the people there.

No one can say for sure without testing this premise out.

If freedom of speech is defined by insulting and cursing, I'm afraid that's something we don't offer. You can feel free to constructively criticize when necessary, but refrain from insults/attacks(not saying you have). The aforementioned applies to everyone equally. This is the internet. You will find many trolls, many people who act like asses just to cause fitna and just to divide a group of people.
What means of enforcement do you have as far as making them tell the truth goes? If your conspiracy theory holds truth and there are people who are preteding to be Pashtuns, WHO is going to come out and answer your six little questions with: "Hi, no, I'm not Pashtun and I don't have ghairat." ?

Ghairat is not what you define it to be, Pashtunwali is not what you define it to be. A Pashtun is not necessarily Muslim and Pashtun does not necessarily speak Pashto.

in this forum ive heard people talk in a manner which in noway can be pashtuns.ive never in my life heard so many twisted people and than claiming to be pashtuns.
when i do a post about pukhtunkhwa than some people jump trying to defend the paskistani establishment.and when i put an Afghan video people try to ridicule afghans and their religion and tag it as "bedouin culture" arab culture etc.we know those are codes use for Islam.

and than there are these Atheist pashtuns who are totally lost and can never be representatives of pashtuns and yet they try to impose their ideology upon us.

so what is this forum about?

im an open minded person ive friends from all continents faiths and colours so dont even go there.

Ghairat is not what you define it to be, Pashtunwali is not what you define it to be. A Pashtun is not necessarily Muslim and Pashtun does not necessarily speak Pashto.
