I've worn it a coupla times just for the heck of it, though. And perhaps I'll put some on on my wedding day :D But that's only 'cause I would want all people to know that I'm the bride (no, seriously) and that the spotlight should be on me (no, seriously) and it'd be MY big day (no, seriously); it wouldn't be because I wanna look good and can't achieve good looks WITHOUT make-up.

I love raanja, though :D (the things you put in the eyes). My English friends call it eye make-up. But whatevs.

I think it's kajol in Urdu? Is that the same thing?
    Hey Que :D

Would you take the same stance on the shaping of eyebrows?

            You're asking if I consider eyebrow-shaping make-up? What a fascinating and thought-provoking question, yo!!

No, I do not consider it make-up. To me, eyebrow shaping isn't "attractive." I mean, I don't necessarily look all "made up" with shaped eyebrows, and I wouldn't think it attracts people's attention. (On the contrary, bushy and un-made or un-shaped or otherwise eyebrows tend to attract people's attention, at least mine.) Neither is my self-esteem all that low without shaped eyebrows, LOL. But it's my way of keeping myself well-groomed and my eyebrows neat.

Did that answer your question, or did I completely misunderstood what you were asking me? lol

That's right Did you know that hell is gonna have FAR more women than men? And you wonder why? ... Yes, well, we can now we can add at least ONE more reason to the list of reasons apologists try to give us to explain away that claim that hell's gonna have more women than men: Most women (and I'd even say almost all women in the west) shape their eyebrows.

Are you a male or female? ... Believe it or not, your gender will give a LOT of weight to your claim that "Shaping eyebrows is haram," so that's why I'm asking.

You answered the question! :D Just wanted to know your thoughts.

To answer the topic, I love make up (especially buying and looking through all the kinds of colorful and pretty stuff they have out there) and playing around with them! It's FUN :D but yeah wearing them outside lol I'd wear niqab and trust me, I have for that reason.

                    That is an ignorant response.
Gender means nothing in such a topic. Its a view and back with a source posted in the thread regarding this.

But it does not have any benefits.

Me being asked whats my gender for a certain view is inarticulate and asinine.

^Gender doesn't count, Punjabi, but word of advice - coming from a male we gals do become a bit defensive. You can try being a bit less provoking and overbearing if ever you want to convince a gal on something

I'm a gal and I do agree that the general rule is that the plucking of eyebrow hairs are haram.

to you it doesn't. it allows her more power over manipulating you in to believing what she wants you to believe so it does play a role.

I find that weird DZJ and Dukes.

If Islamic evidence is available, I should not have to convince or be over-bearing. I am being straight to the point and not dancing in circles with it.

Its Haram, stop, it has certain conditions in which it is allowed. That is it.
