because it involves concepts which extend beyond merely being about women's clothes. It's not that women are incapable; but your culture, the white trash harlot culture you come from, seems to be fixated on brainwashing people of other parts of the world to follow their ignorant and shallow fashion culture and materialism; so it behooves me to shake my fellow kinsfolk to wake up out of the hallucination.

to hell with being the way one is "supposed" to be. be what you are. next thing you know, you will be told not to wear high heels and or tie your hair too high under your scarf by one of these secretly woman wannabes.
seriously, do we ever come over to tell you how to tie your shoe laces?? would you like us to mingle about your business like that??

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

          I guess I was wrong ...

there is a word in Dari they say ...nadida

what's the pashto word for it?
Yes now i finally know the word for it! My point is, on a normal to day basis, I dont see our men constantly involved in women related issues, especially when its in a female fashions thread.....and this is not directly at you. You think 'fashion' is shallow and materialistic, and that is you. Not everyone thinks the same as you. Not all girls that wear hijab want to wear only black or white ones, some want to wear a blue one that has white polka dots. And let them be. If they were your sister, then say whatever you want to say to them.

LOL@ nadida, i dont think that is quite the word for it.

              That's just your brainwashing speaking

you wear heels precisely because you're brainwashed into believing that's how you're supposed to be.

So stop this pretentious emotional black mail of independence because if that was the case you wouldn't be into fashion.

The fact is you're being made a fool of, and the fact you'd fall into that so gullbly if you're being made a fool of then that's precisely why we should intervene and even snatch the stupid contraptions out of your hand and even smack you in the head with a newspaper until sense comes into it. That's what this is about. Nothing less nothing more.

The fact some may not deem it shallow and materialistic proves my point exactly. Fashion pertains to material objects, namely clothing and that such things are given such emphasis in defining ones sense of significance to feel contentment or joy is shallow since that is only an image, not substance. The fact others dont see it that way shows that they have become lost to the delusion.

Regardless of whether or not my sisters are involved, this is my society I am apart of it and it affects the behaviors and habits of those around me thereby I should not only intervene but your wake up out of this delusion. Everything from how we spend money to how we distribute resources depends on our choices; thereby the ultimate impact is global.

                Leave Faye alone
When Faye stops meddling she'll be left alone.

I'm not blaming you for anything, What I'm doing is showing you the ugly and despicable face of your culture which you desperately try to scapegoat with all these foolish diversion tactics which farangay culture uses to confuse people.

It won't work on me Faye....try that on someone of Northern European background, they may fall for it.

I think the problem is we aren't judgemental enough or for the wrong reasons; we turn a blind eye way too much.

On that note hijab is a very low priority issue for me. But fashion is a product of shallow materialism which rots our societies; the more it's referred to in a disparaging and negative light, the better for society.
To me fashion is a billion things, it doesnt just fall down to the 1 billion pairs of skinny jeans ppl have.

Before I go further, if you see embroidery on a abaya, do you find that wrong?

it defeats the purpose of the abaya
