It is the same situatation with Uzbek in Afghanistan.

Farsi is dominating it because of these Tajiks who always think their stupid language is superior and they also think Uzbek is a tribal langauge.

Alisher Navoi (Uzbek writer) says:

Turks found it necessary, or at least advisable, to learn Persian - it was, after all, the official state language - while Persians saw no reason to bother learning Turkic which was, in their eyes, merely the uncivilized tongue of uncivilized nomadic tribesmen.

But Uzbek and I'm sure Pashto are much more precise than Farsi.

I agree with you that farsi harmed not only pashtu but uzbiks and other languages.Turks peole are in large number accross central asi,china,turkey and in afghanistan.
The afghan-uzbiks like pashtuns also lost their rich culture and language.
These languages must be protected and should be fully recognise.

They are spreading this parsiwanization everywhere.
Speak uzbik with those farsiwans visiting your area even if they do,nt understand you.You leaders should also do something for uzbik language.

The same argument can work for Apridi too. As in Karachi and in his career he is surrounded by non Pashto speakers, that is why he cannot speak pure Pashto but we should appreciate that at least he speaks Pashto mixed with English or Urdu words not like others who cannot speak a single word of Pashto. And why you do not appreciate his admiring words for Pashtuns and Afghanistan?

First this guy love pakistanyat very much wich i am very allergic to.
I was watchting cricket long time ago on TV,pakistan won the match and these pashtuns in Dubai were crying apridi,s name so after the match the media people asked him to say few words in pashtu for his fans this apridi refused to do so and made comments in hindi/urdu.
He defended the napak army action in tribal area and in media he often support them.
Badlun sb ,these are oppertunists people.They do,nt care for pashtu and pashtuns.
If he said few words for afghanistan then it is not surprising there are indain-pashtun with afghan heritage said the same in media.
If he is realy afghanistan lover then let him play for afghanistan then.

For any language to survive,You need it to have literature in every single subject,

If we successfully include Pashto into our curriculum From school upto intermediate atleast.

40-45Million people having Pashto as compulsory subject will be a good boost for pashto
