A kafir like you has even less of a right to give judgement on Pashtun culture. Yes i agree let the individual Pashtun families decide. now what??

So if you enjoy music then you have to lie to yourself and say "in Islam your allowed to do that"

      Obviously not

No it doesnt imply that at all, if a Muslim man turns his face away from women its not because she is a sex object but because it is a command of Allah, simple as that, try as hard as you want but you munafiqoon will never be able to change the laws of zina to suit your own tendencies.

we have history both recent and modern which demonstrate how wrong he is. That's what happens when Pashtuns learn about their religion from a foreign approach.
Foreign interpretation? foreign as in spreading your foreign mutazilla ideology to wreck Afghanistan, just like the foreign wahabi ideology that has wrecked it, dont talk about foreign, YOU are a foreigner you have no idea on pashtun etiquette's you dont even understand them your so white washed.

like i said before, Islam before culture.

Liberal? How liberal is she really? I've never seen her wear bikinis on stage or short skirts? What about Zar Sanga, was her family also liberal? she's from a Kuchi background who are the original Pashtuns.

I think the problem is you're too radicalized in your thinking.

well before it was "Pashtun this" or "Pashtun that" ......even in Islam you're wrong.

The Ethiopians danced in front of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace); dancing and saying [in their language], “Muhammad is a righteous servant.” The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “What are they saying?” And they said, “‘Muhammad is a righteous servant’” (Musnad al-Imam Ahmad. 6 vols. Cairo 1313/1895. Reprint. Beirut: Dar Sadir, n.d., 3.152).

really start learning your own religion.

Mu'tazilah was probably the first form of Islam to even come to Pashtun areas, so again don't speak on what you don't know.

The bigoted interpretation you are attaching to the commands of Allah indicates your own insecurity regarding your women-folk, your identity crisis, your lack of guts to adjust or to at least find some level of compatibility with modern global culture, and a fundamental lacking in your brought up (some confined brought up). It is not something written on the wall. 95% Muslims in your own environment would not agree with you---would rather consider you psychologically unstable.

You simply have taken refuge in an interpretation that provides some moral ground to your psychologically abnormal thinking and weaknesses of your personality and character. I can well imagine how maladjusted you might be in your environment.

Now just answer one question; why is it ok for you to watch movies and listen to songs ? If you are not looking at it as art and consider it bad for your own women and think that there is sin attached to it, doesn't it indicate you are doing it for your own pervert satisfaction? Were you considering it art, you would not be considering it sinful.

Work on your own-self instead of super-imposing your abnormal/unstable psychosis on others.

EmKhan, my lot if she wants can sing a song, compose a piece of music, write poetry, etc. and present it to others with dignity and self-esteem without caring what medieval century apes are thinking about her. I am absolutely ok with that.

The thing is, you should do something about your pervert thinking. When you look at art with a perverted attitude(thinking there is sin attached with it even though enjoying watching all those women), that must be taking you to some lustful state. That is not virtuous man. Do something about that---something for your moral health.

saw an afghan woman giving a lecture about afghan women participating in art yesterday, she was married to a white guy and drinking wine in the afternoon while rubbing noses with rich jews.

i am all for afghan women participating in these things, but 100% against this stuff being promoted or invested in by kaffirs. art for the sake of strengthening the culture, not to be some kaffirs little pet project.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

                                This is what I wrote
"Pashtun women should be active in ALL aspects of life, including the arts and music, just as men are"

                                This is what

DaZahroJam, EmKhan and other myopic ignorant individuals read

" Pashtun women should be made to wear scantily clad attire or better yet stripped down nude, oiled up and pole dance to really crappy disco music while men watch"

these mentally challenged people have difficulty in understanding hard concepts like , liberty, progress and human betterment.
