But that's the most relevant factor here if you ask me You preaching against something you indulge in is rather bizarre and ludicrous.

how is what you do personally a more pertinent factor than advocating what you do on a larger scale?
Because millions of people LIKE YOU who are doing it personally sort of ADDS up into one LARGE significant impact. Sort of like one drop of water on your forehead won't kill you but a LARGE TORRENT does. And all a torrent is, is a composite of a bunch of little drops of water.

One second you speak of Mut'azila and schools of thoughts, engaging yourself in Islamic debates etc and the next second your encouraging music, films and dancing.. your being a hypocrite in labeling me a hypocrite, thats how twisted you are.
the Mu'tazilah were great patrons of art and music in case you haven't read up; in fact none of the Mu'tazilah have ever suspended music or dancing.

Maybe you should do that before contradicting your own stance?

I never said women shouldnt participate in society.
Media is part of society, and you're saying they can't participate in the arts?

and yes but its CLEAR CUT that music, dancing is haraam, no?
No, please read up on the irrelevant ahadith, there were women who were singing and dancing even during the Prophet's time , he neither scolded them nor told them to stop.

yes thats better, work on your da'wa to stop watching TV instead of going off an a tangent and encouraging it. well done

I don't see anything wrong with it nor do I find any evidence that it is sinful, in fact the hadith evidence shows the contrary.

We should encourage Pashtun women of all ages and backgrounds to enter film, television, music and media such as journalism, internet and writing

Maybe EMKhan will commit suicide if this happens, but one low life is worth losing for many lives to be born
I totally agree with you RTR. Women are as capable of producing art as men are be that poetry, painting, sculpture, music, singing, etc. This world is for both genders to contribute to its beauty towards.

The only problem is that in Afghanistan singing and dancing is seen by the locals as the same as being a prostitute. And by the way, women should be more in politics and there should be more women lawyers and judges, becuae I finde those jobs have more infleunce and can make a positive change for Afghan women.

But for Toramana and RTR a woman should only sing and dance. The best profession in their eyes. Look at their mindset and their level of respect for woman.

That is your interpretation. Everything that is open to a man should also be open to woman.
