I will have no hesitation if any of my lot wanted to become an artist---Obviously, that has got nothing to do with your provocations.

Pashtuns: "We need to combat misogyny and hatred"

RTR: "I know! lets make a path to hell and promote music, dance etc"

      Pashtuns: "But music is haraam!"

RTR: "No! music, singing and dancing is halal"

      Pashtuns:

notice how the kuffar agree with you, somethings wrong pal

and just because i do a sin, doesnt mean i have to agree with it or pretend its not a sin, just because i do a sin doesnt mean i have no right in telling people its wrong, just because i do a sin in private doesnt mean i should promote it, thats what shaytaan does, he's going to hell so he's taking as much people as he can with him, stop imitating the shaytaan :-|

you're the one playing with words; you're introducing ideas and words that no one stated.

you're a liar, and if you're fasting you should fear Allah becuse lying is a bigger sin during siyam.

rather be a hypocrite than change Islam for my personal preferences.

Im a Muslim before i'm Pashtun and so should you be.

YOUR clueless of Pashtun culture if you think Pashtuns will allow their daughters, sisters, mothers to sing and dance on TV.

No jack off, I'm saying you're watching TV which features women openly displayed and probably dancing and music, even on News Channels the commercials are there.

Being a hypocrite IS changing Islam into your personal preferences; by not obeying what you preach, you act like you're above the laws of Islam.

Go study Islam first from UNBIASED SOURCES, that means not some child molesting Pakistani guy and then come back and tell us what is forbidden in Islam or who is changing Islam.

no form of art can exist in a conceited society. There is nothing artistic about painting one's self like a clown, wearing skimpy cloths and standing in front of crowds of men who have no appreciation or understanding of beyond what they see.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

You are no one to give a judgement on Pashtun Culture. Let the individual Pashtuns and Pashtun families decide for themselves. You have the right over your daughters, mother, and sisters (but not those of others) to treat them as subhuman or whatever. That would still be unfortunate though.

you only perceive what you get out of it, that doesn't apply for everyone.

There was a president of Pakistan whose name was justice Rafiq Tarar. Another justice Sajjad Ali Shah wrote about him in his auto-biography that once they were sitting together watching TV and a female newscaster appeared ---Justice Tara turned his face. Justice Sajjad Ali Shah asked him why did you turn your face. Tarar replied that because she was a woman. Justice Sajjad Ali Shah replied "you shouldn't consider her a sex object....You should consider her as a human being"

What astounds me is the level of perversion in the thinking of such people. These people enjoy music, movies, etc. which obviously involve women. But when it comes to their own women or women of other Pashtuns indulging in art, they say, they must not be allowed to do that.

This implies one thing i.e., these people have only one image of women artists i.e., that of "sex objects and objects of sensual entertainment".

Another implication one can make from their stance is that, by attaching stigma and ig-nobility to women being singers or artists but still enjoying the performance of such women, these people consider the existence of a professional class necessary in the society that can offer such things and so satisfy their bestial/lustful desires. That is the main cause for the development of vulgarity and special streets in the society.

Probably, it is also connected with sense of ownership "my woman is private and must entertain me" but I am free "to watch other people women if I am a man".

I found it affable that Manzareh has the nerve to somehow claim his foreign interpretation of Islam is somehow the normative Pashtun outlook on the whole matter; ignoring the entire customs and history of Pashtun society which features both male and female dancing, singing , poets, artists, writers and so on.

we have history both recent and modern which demonstrate how wrong he is. That's what happens when Pashtuns learn about their religion from a foreign approach.
