i dont know what you exactly mean but it seems you think qutting one's nationality is as easy as changing clothes.

like many he left Afghanistan and settled in pukhtunkhwa, having a pakistani ID does not change the fact that someone is from Afghan.
there are many reasons why someone would want a pakistani ID ,one of the reason is to escape bad police treatment and hading over their money to police.
you know what happens to Afghan citizen ID carrier in pekhawer?

than again we should ask him if he "quitted" his Afghan nationality but in this video it seems he didnt.

And she says that 'Music has no boundries' and it's true else Indians would have never listened to Rahat Fateh Ali and welcomed Mehdi Hassan.. and vice versa

      Pakistani Pakhtuns have Pakistani Nationality

Pakhtuns of Afghanistan are Afghan even by Nationality!!
Pakistan came into being on the night of 14th August, 1947. Just one night before that, our parents and grand-parents had another nationality (imposed by British). Nations are evolved not created. Your Paki nation was artificially created by Mr. Durand and Mr. Redcliff and has no natural basis. In 1947, it was reduced to its present form.

But how can the dead-brain of a Paki of Khaliswal origin grasp this. Go be part of your indics where you would blend well.

"khaliswal" lol. Toramana has come with another id.

"I am also an ethnic Afghan, but my nationality is Pakistani. Pashtuns/Afghans would be always living in Pakhtunkhwa but countries might change. We were in Afghanistan, then in British india and now we are in Pakistan. Tomorrow if Pakistan disintegrate, it would simply vanish from face of earth but pashtuns would be present..." i have told this to blind pakistani patriots who told me to leave pakistan and go to afghanistan.

That is something they never seem to understand.

i have heard his interview on bbc few years back, he claimed that his parents are from charbagh swat originally, he himself was born and raised in karachi. he also claimed that he is not yusufzai, but sabzada.

various sources say born in karachi, i too thought he was from jalalabad.

many pashtun with parents from afghanistan are born in canada, usa, uk, UAE - what are these mashoms? not afghan?
you can argue a man's father, or grandfather or great grandfather is/was from afghanistan, and the argument will still be same, what about man born in current land of afghanistan but living in pakistan or india for three generations? is he still afghan?
i believe in rahim shah's case, he is from afghanistan IF he has a tazkara and can get a passport from the afghan embassy with correct procedure then he is legit afghan otherwise belongs to afghan qom like pashtuns in KPK or elsewhere.

anyway, this is a pashtun forum, and I think it applies to pashtun in bangladesh, guyana or swabi. No?

Is it a result of his family marrying first cousins for many generations? Just wondering?
