Baran is movie I watched a few years ago. It's about a Kurdish guy and an afghan refugee boy named Rahmat at a work site. Rahmat is actually a girl and the Kurdish guy hates her for stealing his job not knowing she is a girl.
The movie is on YouTube with English subtitles.
What I like about this movie in comparison to other movies made about Afghans is that it's not painfully depressing. It was not made with the attitude of. " o my God, poor afghans!".
