I don't think he speaks Pashto. I believe the poster who said they saw it, but I am skeptical. Very few from Mianwali retained the language but some definitely did (I lived there for 3 years as a child, no idea why.. I am not from the Niazi family tree lol) When I visit there I notice the kids are all trying to learn pashto to retain their culture (Pashtuns in Mianwali are proud pashtuns who have mostly lost their language) ! They are trying to go back to their roots, i was pretty impressed and happy about that. Same thing from where my dads family lived in Lahore (Zaman Park) almost exclusively Pashtuns from Jalandhar, mostly Burki/Ormurs who are also re-learning Pashto that they gradually lost while living in India.Originally posted by Smarty View PostAny clip of misbah speaking pashto?

I have read some where that there are actually some clans of niazis in isakhel who still speak pashto. Wikipedia says that pashto is spoken by 10% people of mianwali. Population of mianwali is 1.6 million. So atleast 1.6 lakh people there speak pashto, if wiki is to be believedOriginally posted by Baraki View PostI don't think he speaks Pashto. Correct. I lived in Mianwali for the first 3 years of my life. The Pashto speaking kids like small bits of my family that is settled there and the Non-Pashto speaking kids all around them are very aware of their pashtun heritage and proudly embrace it. The kids that don't speak pashto still know most common phrases and always say small pashto terms all the time (and they all swear at each other in pashto too lol!). I think this 10% stat is similar in Zaman Park Lahore.Originally posted by Smarty View PostI have read some where that there are actually some clans of niazis in isakhel who still speak pashto. It is understandable, if you see the map of tribal distribution of pashtuns, Niazi majority area is shown on east side of river indus. Usually the areas on east side of river indus are in pakhtunkhwa , river indus is also cultural and linguistic barrier, niazis ended up in wrong province. Isa khel and kalabagh were supposed to be in pakhtunkhwa.Originally posted by Baraki View PostCorrect. I lived in Mianwali for the first 3 years of my life. Man.. fair skin isn't good or bad at all. Skin color just shouldn't be relevant.. only as a descriptor not as anything more than that.Originally posted by kanishka View PostTime for a Nuristani thread and we still find most of them are Beige :P
