So what? You saw a brown Tajik. Whats your point? I am Tajik and I am kinda brown but in my family there is a huge variety of features: most of them light skinned, many of them with light eyes, some of them brown like myself,.. almost no one with mongoloid features,.. so once again, WHATS YOUR POINT?Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View Post
I've seen 2 tawjikas, 1 who used to be active on this site, the other may be (likely is) someone here as well.
They both have dark skin LOOOOLLLL... 1 looks almost 100% Indian."For thirty years, I endured much pain and strife,

Tajiks and Pashtuns both can display a diverse range of phenotypes, depending on which region they are from. these type of comparisons are really retarded. Some Pashtuns are really dark, some are really light, same with Tajiks. most Afghan guys tan, so they fall medium in terms of lightness-darkness, (if you look at Afghanistan national football team).Originally posted by Firdousi View PostSo what? I don't think it was meant to be denigrating in any way. The reason he said that was because Tajik people make fun of Pashtuns and associate them with indics and desis . So this was his Badal. Imo both groups' phenotypes can vary from region to region and one can't define either of these two very diverse groups by common pictures or generalisations. Deciding who's Pashtun looking or Tajik looking or who's whiter is something we should transcend.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostSo what? You saw a brown Tajik. Whats your point? SOME Tajik people make fun of Pashtuns desi features just like SOME Pashtuns make fun of Tajiks mongol features. But its all BS. Both are mainly Iranic tribes. Even if we look like Monghols/Desi, what? Whats wrong about that? It doesn't make you better/worse.Originally posted by ZarakDurrani606 View PostI don't think it was meant to be denigrating in any way. No. Such petty things should'nt matter. Like i said, time to move beyond such trivial issues.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostSOME Tajik people make fun of Pashtuns desi features just like SOME Pashtuns make fun of Tajiks mongol features. What Zarak said. There's a stereotype that Tajiks are very different ie more fair skinned. I've seen ones that look Indian ie not fair skinned.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostSo what? Most Tajiks do not have a natural unibrow. Tajik and some other Central Asian girls use a herb called usma or something like that to 'fake' one.
It seems to originally be either a Turkic or Tajik custom from Central Asia or something popularized from Qajar Iran.

Exactly, they use Usa (Isatis sp. as far as I know) to grow unibrow and to grow strong long hair.Originally posted by Friends of Baloch View PostMost Tajiks do not have a natural unibrow. Tajik and some other Central Asian girls use a herb called usma or something like that to 'fake' one.
