Its renowned poet, linguist, critic, journalist and nationalist "Sahibzada Habib Ur Rehman" aka "Qalandar Momand". He rendered valuable services in the field of literature and was awarded Sitara e Imtiaz by Pakistan Government. He was a close companion of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan. He imprisoned by the then Pakistani Government many times. During his prison in Hayderabad Tribunal Case along with Wali khan, Ajmal Khattak and others he wrote this famous verse:
