Great. I cannot tell you how much better it is. From the moment I press the power switch, I can get to the desktop in under 20 seconds whereas before it would take ~4mins. Before, everything took forever. Even loading up simple web pages took ages since all my RAM was used up [I was literally reading books in the time it took to load]. I'm averaging 2GB now while not running any demanding programs like games or PhotoShop and before my RAM was limited to 1GB so you can tell how much better things are.

And this screen is great! When I look at my old one, it seems so tiny - I can't imagine how I ever watched stuff on it.


So yeah, it's all good! I'm a happy person right now.
My folks subsidised £450 and gave me back £200 that I had lent them before.
The computer costed £690 (with the screen and stuff included) so that's £240 of my own money gone. I think it's definitely worth it though.
