Hunter x Hunter (2011)
I started watching it the other day.
It's good for the most part until you get to the latter arcs. Then it becomes really good and on the current arc (currently at episode 95) it's very dark and completely blows away anything before it.
When I was watching it, I was reminded of you given your interests (you like bugs and biological systems, right?) and i'm sure you'd enjoy it. I won't explain further because it may spoil it for you but yeah. I really think you should give it a go.
