I totally agree with you, I, too, am not naive about the West, I know how the West manipulates people for its interests, but we have a lot to learn from then as they discovered enlightenment 300 years ago, while were still stuck in social reforms. I understand those Muslims in the West are very defensive of their faith since they are minorities led by bigots. The reason why Turkey became a Secular democratic country is because they realised that with Islam its not possible to unite with other Muslims such as the Arab revolts, Syrian revolt, Iranians etc, so they decided to take their own nationals into consideration and adopted secularism, those were Atta Turks exact motives and now Turkey is a influencial and strong rapidly developing nation.
