just as a new year but dont take it as seriously as i see some people here.
we dont do any sort of rituals such as samanak etc.
we do have haft mewa and if you ask me it is kind of tasty.
we dont celeberate it as Eids.
in Afghanistan it is celeberated much widely than in foreign countries.
it is mostly in foreign countries taken very serious by people who aren very islamically inspired and see this as their only hope.
in Afghanistan shias have give this day a more importance as they do janda kashey in mazarisharif in name of Ali(r).
