I would love to take up watercolour, but I know I need coaching. I don't go for minute detail but equally I'm not overly into abstract, even though I actually like Persian/Oriental miniature - Herat, used to be famous around the 15th/16th Century as an artistic centre. For me though, I'd just like to be able to start with simple stuff that captures something like scenery or a moment. I guess I've just had a very transient life over the past few years but when I think I'm stable enough, perhaps I should enrol for a class.
