Abbotabad is in khyber pakhtunkhwa, in hazara region. Himilayas also cover other areas of pakistan like kohistan, murree (punjab), galiat, these all are very beautiful regions. I have been to azad kashmir.
I dont know about punjabis, but pashtuns recieve arabs with great respect..before this war on terror, some time arabs on tabligh used to stay in mosques of our area...wazirs dont give their women in marraige to other tribes but they gave their daughters to arab mujahids who settled in their areas...because conservative pashtuns respect arabs because they qaum of holy prophet, like the reason pashtuns have respect for syeds.
