  • Well we have wards like 3-4 hours per day. We had special pathology and community medicine as subjects this year which we have to give a paper at the end of the year. But we also have like clinical classes/lectures, like gynae, opthalmology, surgery, medicine etc...but we wont take any exams this year. Next year (final year) is where we will be taking all clinical subjects in one go and like lots of wards, including evening wards. We had a community ward where we went all around the clinics in peshawar, like BHU (basic health units) and MCH (mother child health) clinics, it was fun. Like we got to go in a bus wid our group (5 girls, 4 boys)..but the sad part was how bad the state of the clinics were. They were quite basic and lots of children wid poor health...Microbiology is really good when it comes to understanding a disease, coz its linked with pharmacology as well. If someone has an infection, you need to find what organism is involved so you then know what drug is suitable.
