In terms of birds there are loads of birds to hunt, especially patridges (got couple of nice ones at home, Afghans love their patridges), quails, siskins (they are neted rather than shot which is fun) mostly. But there are also big birds to hunt, especially the ones that migrate through Afghnistan from Central Asia and Europe. Last we shot a big white bird that looked like Mackpie but I don't know if it was. We stay overnight in some areas areas and shoot rabits and foxes. Winter is kind of boring here, especailly around Kabul.. I do cover up but I am fine with it given that I am used to the wheather in England, it is just freaking dry in here.
If you're for sea-diving and snorkelling why don't you go Egypt?, or you have already been there? My dad talks of Phillipines he has been there many times. Morroco is nice place, esepecially if you like deserts and their baths etc. Hope you make it.
