Well, I'd suggest you not do it with the intention to convince anyone; do it simply to educate and inform, nothing more. It's up to them whether to accept or reject it. But I do know that such discussions are often pointless with most people; the moment they realise you disagree with them, they'll close their minds and ears -- if they were ever open to begin with.
