I think a lot would depend on the situation in Afghanistan and elsewhere (e.g. the Middle East). And yes, you are right in that, for the elections in 2013, there are chances they are working on the parties of the right esp Imran Khan's Tehrik-i-Insaf. The rest are only useful for countering or pressuring parties of the left.
