Hi ComradePashtun Salamoona, I read the article. Pakistani establishment has old links with SA and it is possible it gets embroiled on the part of Sunni Arabs. And as long as the present political dispensation in Islamabad is useful for the military, there is little chance of a reordering (until substantial NATO exit). As for the killing of the Taleban commanders, the matter is too murky to speculate on.
