So... Has there been any evolution?

No Sir, there has been no evolution at all.

In fact, we have devolved from a functional society. I will give you a very crude example. A Turk called Mahmood -from the city of Ghazni- not only had Afghans and Iranians in his army but his social skills were such that he had Hindus working for him as well and those Hindus had opted to work with a Muslim Turk against their own Hindus. The cooperation and support that Mahmood enjoyed not only came from across the ethnicities but it transcended religious ideologies as well.

So there we were united and successful and here we are divided in nationalities like pack animals looking for comfort and protection on the basis of biological similarities. Hyenas have similar physical needs like other Hyenas so they stick together to satisfy their needs, Wolves stick with other Wolves and Gorillas stick with Gorillas.
