it was before the invasion and a year before the changeover in iran. i missed out on kabul. from iran to herat, kandahar, then quetta, i think, up through pakistan into india.
great journey and i timed it well. was treated very good in iran and afghanistan but in afghanistan i didn't get to meet the women.
