Like you mentioned, the essence of Sufism is preaching love towards the Divine. And at the end of the day, that's what any form of Islam teaches as well. It's sad, that we get carried away in various interpretations and lose sight at times. After all, we're all Muslims and we're all wanting to reach the same place. Whether we're secular or conservative.
