Fadak was a piece of land... it was owned by the Prophet. When he died his daughter claimed it as hers. The caliph denied her claim causing her 2 quote Bukhari "die angry with him and not speak with him till her death" remember that prophet said "whoever angers Fatima angers me and whoever angers me angers Allah" you do the math.... the reasons that the caliph gave 2 deny fatima are stupid namely that prophets do not leave heirs as the quran speaks of he Prophet Soloman inheriting from the Prophet David (both were kings) and the Prophet Zachariya asking and praying for an Heir ....
