Dervaish Mashra, Salaamoona,

I complete my MA this upcoming year InshAllah. Had a bit of delayed start generally, for all sorts of reasons.

Canada ... well, it so happens, that *technically* I'm a resident. I formally landed a year and a bit back so I'm legal to live/work there. I honestly thought about moving there back in the summer of last year and then I had a sudden extension of contract here in the UAE, ... long term ... any number of possibilities ...

I've been globe trotting the past few years and I guess, yes, I would love to be in Canada at some point. I had a short stint living in the US some years back. My family is mostly UK based and my folks are getting on ... so there is that pull, and I really want to be on the ground in either Pakistan or Afghanistan at some point. I'm close enough from where I'm based currently. Where next? Khudai khabar de ... and quite honestly, I need to be back in Canada at some point InshAllah.
