Yeah, I read this story about a Jewish couple who got gold earrings for their 2 little girls. They put them in a cup on a shelf and planned to give them to their daughters for shabbat. Their daughters used to look up at the shelf so excitedly and stuff. Then the night before shabbat, they go missing. The cleaning lady took them, but she worked for a company so they were able to get their stuff back (not just the earrings, but other things too). The cleaning lady was Mexican, and her daughter was like "My mom found these things and put them in her pocket, she planned to put them back, but forgot." Yeah... right.
