and how do you know what prophet said? there are many hadith in the sahih collections which not only contradict one another but also basic quranic teachings but simply by including them in the sahih collections they are not challenged.... keep in mind that many hadith were forged in the abbasid and ummayad dynasties who each had their own reasons 2 ensure why certain "sayings" came 2 be accepted.... these hadith are merited not on their content but rather on their chain which is ASSUMED to be true... one can easily make a fake hadith and attach to it a valid chain if you were before Bukhari and had made such a hadith no doubt it 2 would have been accepted. Btw I am not shia but I do hold the ahle bayt higher than any sahaba
