Well, first of all lemme tell you i m not wrora/ brother, rather I m sister/khor :P
So my story is something like this....my great grand father's father was the first to come to India from Kabul, his son then started serving in the army of the rulers of the State of Hyderabad, which was not under the British....my grand father got educated here and started working as a Civil Servant..and eventually they made India as there home.
