so i called my imam about the issue going on on PF as of late. He said that as soon as a kid reaches taqleef (puberty) he is responsible for his actions, whether he chooses to explore islam deeper or not, and decides to leave and come back..it is still considered as leaving Islam. As long as he had reached puberty....so ya...
