Is that why you guys had a military coup in 1999, was it the taliban threat? Or what unrelated? I´m not being sarcastic or anything, I´m interested in this now. Why have those areas been lawless for so long? I assumed the Pakistani military was tiny and couldn´t wage a war or well, civil war to be honest. It´s what I thought.
