In England, the nation that conquered and enslaved 1/4th of the globe with their bravery and might, homosexuality was a punishable offense well into the 20th century. However, they've evolved as a society now and respect the privacy of individuals in regards to what two consenting adults do indoors.

I would be enlightened than backward and reactionary any day. Some people cannot stand it and they question whether I'm this or that. Good for them. But if they want Pashtuns to be a nation of zombies who can't think and become slaves to Bedouin traditions, they are surely wrong. Their descendants will disown them.
