Changing Your Name/Report/Reputation

I hope everyone is fine

It will be awsome if Admin khan stops changing member's nic names.
I think its good not to change their nic names for some reasons

A member posts 200 times with nic name ABC and then changes his nic name to DEF which makes the other members confused..

I talked to Elders of PF specially Admin khan and i hope he will reply positively .


1. Names wont be changed anymore (except you give a good reason for changing your name)

2. If for some reasons you want to change your name then your previous Name will be displayed Under your New Forum Name

3. Its better to make a new account with new name and your previous account will be Locked forever.

Two more important Things..


Add/Remove Reputation ( system will automatically ban the member if he/she gets more than 10 disapproved votes)

Report Post ( Mods,Admin will remove or edit your reported post)

We have 2 buttons for reporting a post and adding removing reputation

Here is the snapshot




Click on Reputation button and a small box will open where you will be able to approve or disapprove the member's post.
Choose the poll option and write something in small box such as (he/she used bad words) or anything else.

Remember that you can only once vote Disapprove to a single member.
You cant disapprove that member again.

Meanwhile you can give Positive or Approve votes to your friends and good members which will save them from getting automatically banned.




Report : You can report any post , click on the Report button and it will take you to another page where you can report post of any member. Mods,Admin will take care of the post...

(your reported post will not be exposed to the members)

you can disapprove and give reputation marks to the same member after some amount of time i think.

Name changes should not be allowed. Admin should give a week to all those who want to change it and after that never should it be allowed, only extreme circumstances.

Changing names does not personally bother me. Maybe because i have done it :D

If its an active member, no matter how many times they change their name, from their style of posting, its obvious who they are.

Other than that, i dont see it as a big deal

Good Idea Angaar Wrora...i had spoken to Admin about this name changing issue....i use to think its only me who is confused may be i dont know people well hence i cant recognize them even after name change....

but oncei read Master khan's post to Admin asking whther Sher Khan was banned....then we realized that it was Shadow Caster......

even Lewanay Anjalai i came to much much later she is now Musafira..(hope i am not mistaken)....

so i am against allowing nick change, change of avtar is fine but not Nick......

I think only for extreme situations name changes should be allowed. I find it ridiculous that members here are saying others were allowed to change usernames 3 times.

Oh really? and how is that abuse? You still know who i am no matter what name i have.

And so what if a member wants to change their name...why is it a big deal if they want to....so what, that you can recognize them? Do you have to know who each person is

I think changing nicknames for unlimited number of times is a good thing. I have a whole book of nice and interesting names I would like to use on forums.

So preventing people from changing nicknames is a stupid suggestion if you ask me.

Also, Angaar says that if someone receives more than 10 negative reps then he or she will be banned.

Suppose if this thing is really translated into a new rule, who is going to be banned? Obviously the religious members. Because our voice is the less preferred one in a nationalist forum.

we didnt make the option today or yesterday, it was made since the forum was created or after some days of its creation..but many members had no idea about it

I don't agree that if someone wants to have her/his name on PF changed, the old account should be locked forever. That's not fair to the person. Most of us have accomplished a lot with our current accounts, and starting all over just because of a new nickname is pointless and perhaps even unfair because of our hard work.
