  • MOTW #17 Musafira

Our 16th member of the week is:

    Musafira

    A little something about her:

Aside from her poetic talent, Musafira has been helping us improve the quality of PF since her very first day in our community. Musafira is one of our very first members and has always been an asset to our community, her way of spreading positivity is unmatched. She also plays a crucial role in keeping us up to date with our culture. Her contributions are deeply appreciated and welcomed by all. We all hope she continues with her brilliant threads and posts. Musafira you have earned your every right to be our MOTW. We all appreciate what you do around here and I on behalf of the staff want to not only congratulate you but also thank you for all your contributions. We look forward to more from you.

    Keep it up Musafira.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Even though Musafira doesn't wear a scarf like you, I find her exceptionally gorgeous and immensely attractive still.

Ever since Musafira came, I didn't even think about visiting any other forum. That includes my previous favorite forum, "Pashtanas in Hijabs".

I have to give a special thank you to Shlombay for being my first friend here So many people here have encouraged me to keep posting things about art and culture and it is always my pleasure to do so. LOL Ayub I feel I must explain what you said In the thread that I posted Pashtun dolls Ayub wrote:

" lolz, hahahhaha..they're pretty scary looking...we could make a Afghan/Pakhtun horror movie. Seriously they're anything but cute, look like that doll from the 'Saw' movie"

I found that very funny so as a joke I made him that special "Saw" doll lol.

Ayub I think it's hiding under your bed
