Afghanistan came in south asia politically and according to United nation further geographic distribution of land beyond countries. geographic land distribution is based on politics and economic integration, and not on culture or language. afghanistan is culturally central asian

Interesting observation that I can agree to. If one were to go through Kabul airport or better get a chance to visit one of the bazaars of an Afghan city one would be astounded to see the gamut of faces that make Afghanistan more in line with so called southern central asia - faces not seen amongst natives of SE Asia. There is no doubt left that its not 'pindi or labore or delhi or Dakka@bengal tiger.

What desi bed. Do you know desi even don't know how to make this bed. It's mostly pashtun from south kp that go to punjab and make it. The fiber or what you call it of which the bed is sewed only grow in south kp deserts not in punjab

I think Afghanistan is South Asia, Central Asia and Middle East/West Asia.....we are located in the middle of everything...which is why so many empires tried to conquer this land..

True...it makes no difference....south, central, west....i think its great that we can be all 3....we have close cultural and historical ties to South aasia, to central and west asia as well. This is something we must only be happy about.

Op is just paranoid cuz some posters keeps trolling him pashtuns and afghans are Indian...lool

To tell you the truth, yes we Afghans are also genetically close to Indic peoples, specially Northern Indians and Punjabis...I believe Punjabis were part of Achamenid Empire hence why spread of Farsi in large parts of ancient India.

We Afghans and Indians are close cousins...I like india...i want to visit India someday...

Haha, follow this syllogism:

A Desi people wear Bata shoes
B Bata shoes are from Singapore
C One belongs to the country where your good are made

Conclusion: Desi people from Singapore

Ignoramus, waste time somewhere else.
I hear PAK DEFENCE FORUM is looking for obsequious followers.

mungojerry Lol at your desperation to try to claim Pashtuns as Desi with the example of beds used in all third world countries?

Are Somalis Desi now? In fact, Desis resemble Somalis more than they do White people.

Some Pashtuns do look little Desi influenced...more common among Paki Pashtuns though....

That Pakistan criketer with last name Afridi is a good example of a Desi looking Pashtun

There is absolutely nothing "South Asian" about Afghans and Afghanistan...

Afghans are actually Central Asian/West Asian together with Iranians but today that means Caucasoid Mongoloide hybrid...which these nations clearly are not... So it doesnt fit us anymore....if not for barbarian Mongol and Turk hordes destroying Central Asia, there would be a fine racial transition from Eastern Europe to Afghanistan...Pamiri Tajiks are best example of what the Central Asian Iranics/Aryans looke like before they were racially genocided by Mongols and Turks and replaced by ugly inferior looking flat faced small eyed ching chongs.

Entirety of Pakistan and NW India was once inhabited by pure Aryans...today these areas are filled with Apus.

I dont understand what is that APU look stereotype, do all desis look like that? no, absolutely not. There are millions of desi men who do not look like APU, being darkskiined doesn't mean they will look like him
