Firstly, I hope all respected members of PF are in great health. I'd like to discuss a few things right now that have not only been brought to my attention but I have sadly witnessed it myself.

1)Unethical posting: This is not a platform for flirting, I envision this site to be a platform for Educational means. I will not tolerate anymore of those derailing posts in our threads that end up stirring the discussion away from its main topic. Don't get me wrong, feel free to randomly talk to one another in the Random thoughts thread. If you are into checking up on a lot of members at one time in a convenient way the Random Thoughts thread serves for that purpose. I am not limiting your abilities to check up on one another, I am aware that hospitality plays a vital role in our culture. However, derailing threads that are serious in other parts of the sections is causing us a severe problem. The PF community will not tolerate threads being derailed. Its just not something that I will permit. If I see posts that are derailing the thread 1 more time don't be surprised when you receive an infraction. My message is directed to all 1,000+ members. Even me and my staff are to blame, I hope you all are educated enough to know that I am not directing this to anyone in specific. If such was the case, I could have PMed the offender. But please for the sake of our family here the next time you post in a thread outside from the Random thoughts topic think twice before you post. Think if you are contributing to the thread in a positive manner. If you are caught post-whoring, I will prune your posts. We are not here for statistics but to educate one another. So please respected members, If you see a thread being derailed report the post or PM me. I'd like to apologize but lately I have been a bit busy with my studies and work. I try to log in as often as I can when time permits me. I truly think we all have the potential in creating a great community that represents us Pashtuns in a respectful way. I want our guests to see that Pashtuns are not evil people, I want them to see the true side of ours which is hardly present in the media. I want this site to represent us all as peaceful,educated and civil people. Before you begin this He is a Pakistani or he is an Afghan nonsense or he is a Kakar and I am a Yusufzai nonsense have 1 thing in mind, we are all Pashtun. We all share the same blood. We all share the same culture and history. Many of us might even be related without us even knowing. So please, we should be working on ways to unify. The last thing we want is people saying "Pashtuns of Pakistan and Afghanistan are different". Am I asking for too much when I say a Pashtun from Swat and Peshawar should hug a Pashtun from Kandahar and Jalalabad and look at him as a brother who shares the same blood?[Same applies to all of us]

2)Insults,name-calling: Honestly, If you can't post without insulting a member 10 times in a paragraph you might as well refrain from posting. If all your going to be posting is 1liners that have insults under disguise, please do us all a favor and don't even bother. We should all be focusing on improving our readership not worsening it. So please, If you cant offer a rebuttal or a refutation to certain claims just say so. You don't necessarily need to have the last word with sentences such as, "HHAhahAhHAHHAH look @ you!!!". Its just not something me or my staff will tolerate. We would rather have 5 positive members here as opposed to 100 members that insult one another. I am sorry to present this message in such a harsh tone but its the truth and I must address it now before it gets out of hand.

I am thankful to each and every one of you for helping us all develop our site into a platform of useful discussions. My goal is to create a database and a hub for all Pashtun related articles and discussions. I want our children to visit PF one day and have access to thousands of our threads which are mostly full of knowledge of our intelligent members. I want our children to learn about our history,culture,language,Religion without having to visit 10 different websites. I want all the above to be conveniently found in PF.

Thank You very much your hard work and dedication. It means a lot to us all. It really does.

today a member wrote Gilam jam somewhere i fink thats an insult too
Its amazing and weird that members never report such things or words.
I have seen some members call eachother M****gaw and other stuff.. Now come on whats the need of using such bad words in Pashtunforum?

Users should report every topic,word or phrase which contains racism,bad words or slang language.. We need our members to help us to make this Home of pashtoons one of the biggest and safest place for our future new comers and child students

Hope u didnt mind Admin Khan..........also i would like add here that when we start new threads and open it for discussion and ask people's views, please respect the views of the members whther you agree with the view or not....we cant expect all views and opinions to be what we want them to be.. and if the views of others are different from ours then please dont start giving names to members.....if we cant respect views ...then my honest request is not to throw it open for discussion.....

also please dont wish ill for members and their families....if u dont agree to them....

Let us all work towards making our beloved PF family an ideal community to which people will look upto....

The issue is not as small as you guys think it is...

There are handful members who flood and derail EVERY topic with the constant rant about afghan vs. pashtoon. If you don't like to be called afghan or you believe you don't belong to certain topic... please see yourself out of the topic. There is no reason to debate about what you would like to be called. There are still many members in this website who like to be called afghan and still believe afghan and pashtoon means the same thing. if you have a problem with being called afghan then its your decision and don't expect everyone else to do the same.

I personally will report each and every post that contains this constant whining about afghan vs pashtoon. Please don't assume that every thread is a battle filed of pashtoon vs afghan. There is no point of constant bickering.

Pashtoons of Afghanistan are known for the patriotism, and the name afghan. Afghanistan is every pashtoon's namoos and ghairat. Don’t expect pashtoons of Afghanistan here to disown their land Afghanistan and their name afghan that they have fought for, for centuries. Pashtoons have sacrificed their sons, their daughters, their lives and their happiness to keep Afghanistan the way it is today (one piece). Afghanistan is every pashtoons pride and the name afghan is every pashtoon's essence and identity in Afghanistan. It is absolute nonsense if you expect pashtoons of Afghanistan to let go of their name 'afghan' and think of disassociating themselves from Afghanistan, or even remotely think about Afghanistan’s division. Do you realize how much pashtoons have faced for that land? for that name?

bottom line: if you do not wish to be called afghan or from afghanistan it is perfectly understandable for everyone has the right to feel whatever suits them, but please don't expect everyone else to agree with you or follow you. Don't flood every topic.

And admin Khan we are making these suggestions because we really care for this website. I have learned a lot by many here and I look up to many as well. We have many well educated sisters here like gulalai,Mazhala,Musafira and I can go on with the list from whom I have learned from.

What you have done and what you continue doing is no doubt appreciated.
