I didn't ban him and since I don't know the full circumstances can not fully comment. As it stands I would not choose to interfere with a management/editorial decision because I suspect it will have been thought out and is unlikely to be purely reactive. I have previously put him on temporary block when he has been caught up in issues. The cooling off has tended to work because it helps create a slight break.
No one is perfect including BSS. We make our ultimate judgements based on our interactions and what we see. To be honest, in my view BSS has not been the worst offender we've had here during the course of the forum and I will say that the accusation of victimisation that is levelled at him, has also stemmed from those who've opposed him. However I do acknowledge that he allows himself to be drawn in.
It generally goes without question, that he does have a certain amount of reasoning, as well.

When we see stupid people in the forum we don't usually try to make them feel scared of speaking or expose them to be the idiots they are. BSS on the other hand victimized such people and got a thrill from bullying. Some idiots did deserve it, other idiots didn't even realize what was happening.. they actually took his trolling serious and didn't even have the mental capacity to acknowledge what he was doing.
