One can clearly see the absence of a moderator, just by looking at the insults thrown left and right in the forum.

To make a long post short; can we get a moderator...

I think you should be a moderator.

If not, then my vote goes to Kushan Prince.

We should also have a female moderator e.g. Pashtanajan, Dukemina, mixxedpashtana or someone else. Even if they don't actively moderate it is a good symbolic gesture to recognize and encourage female participation in the forum.

My hope is that this person never becomes a moderator though you guys are certainly pretty skilled at picking good people out and we defer to you.

She has some serious issues when it comes to Muslim men and instigating them as if she is compensating for some failed past relationship with some salafist sunni or something. It would be a negative development for someone who is this immature and who has a history of making provable dubious propagandistic claims to gain that position (see attached thread).

Hope you are well Doctor Saab. Being a Pashtun alone is not the only criteria for being a Moderator here, but as sure as anything it makes sense that a site that is about Pashtuns and for Pashtuns that any Moderator around here matches that criteria at least.

My choices for Moderator are not without controversy. There are certain no-nonsense types that could easily step up to the Moderator platform. She-of-the-poison-chalice* would be great actually. And even if she did drive off half our Members, I'd still stick by her, but I think she values her freedom to come and go and speak her mind. Who wouldn't?

In general, Moderators learn to be tactful(ish), and I wouldn't want to discuss any behind-the-scenes conversations I may have had.
