    BLS_1919v2.0     since March has been one of our most positive and influential members. He is an asset to our community and strives to see us Pashtuns develop into effective leaders. His quality posts are highly commendable and we all hope he continues to contribute to our community in a similar fashion.     For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."


    The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                Really i am impressed from your writings but more impresed from the way MOW are elected. Its superb. All the times the names come who really deserve this great honour except me hahaa

                I like your deep love for Pashto, Pashtuns and Pashtunwali. You are a staunch lover of the Pashtun cause and your words always carry some sense and depth. Please contribute with the same spirit and may have your share in the reconstruction of the Pashtun thought and the progress of Pashtun people.

                          BLS is a Machiavellian Pashtun nationalist who always bases his arguments on the facts. I remember him from the old CK days. He's a very levelheaded guy who's always to-the-point and unlike many people here, he doesn't get personal. I'm glad such a guy is on our side. He is welcome to come over to my place any time to have paenda with me.
