• I'm Back!

Salaam everybody,I'm back after a 2 week suspension, I don't know why I was suspended, it was stated that I was suspended for trolling, I guess I pissed some people off with my last post, tho I don't think i violated the terms and conditions of this forum

Anyways, I'm back now and co-incidentally it's also happen's to be Kashmir day!, it's like my resurrection on this site coincides on a really important date .

So I'm gonna use the spotlight on me, to shed some light on Kashmir day and the plight of the people of that region, here's an infographic:

Welcome back. You are always contributing meaningfully.

Can you explain why Kashmir is a forgotten issue? Do you think the Indian held kashmir will join Pakistan and will leave the world largest democracy and the land of bollywood. What kashmiris will get in real terms after joining Pakistan?

Will Pakistan keep on hijacking its commercial benefits of having a friendly India for the cause of Kashmir?

More than 200 millions of Muslims are already living in India so why kashmiri Muslims want to be part of the Muslim Pakistan?

Why not LoC may be made the permanent border and do not let the armies of both the countries to flourish at the cost of the poverty stricken people of both Pakistan and India?

Thanks.

Kashmir is a forgotten issue because it doesn't get as much coverage as other regions, such as Palestine,Syria,Afghanistan or Sudan etc, and the only country that ever gave importance to Kashmir(Pakistan), is to busy with it's own problems, so since 9/11 the Kashmir issue has mellowed down.

For Kashmiris, India is not a democracy because it kills it's people and occupies it's lands and if India really was a democracy it would have given the people of Kashmir the right to self-determination, and as for bollywood, Kashmiris don't care about it, it's not significant to it, in fact recently during a filming of an Indian movie in Kashmir, the people protested:

Kashmiris have more benefits in Pakistan, AJK and GB have the highest literacy and female literacy rate in the country, on the other hand occupied Kashmir has the lowest literacy in all of India, and AJK/GB is the most peaceful part of Pakistan and the entire Northern Light Infantry is made of people from these regions, on the other hand occupied Kashmir has 700,000 non-Kashmiri Indian soldiers massacring the people.

If Modi becomes the PM of India, that would further justify Kashmiri secession.

Will Pakistan keep on hijacking its commercial benefits of having a friendly India for the cause of Kashmir?
The only commercial interests in Kashmir are dams and the tourism sector, and as we can see GB and AJK are doing alright and even better than KPK in terms of tourism as well power generation.

Also many Kashmiris are in influential positions in Pakistan

So we're already
More than 200 millions of Muslims are already living in India so why kashmiri Muslims want to be part of the Muslim Pakistan?
Because according to the laws of partition, all the Muslim majority states were supposed to merge with Pakistan, the Muslims remaining in India are a minority in every other state, except Kashmir and they validate the two nation theory, also Kashmirs deeply admire Iqbal, he was also a Kashmiri himself and was the one that dreamed of Pakistan, so don't be surprised if many Kashmiris would want to realize his dream, however many Kashmiris are upset with the current state of Pakistan and it's trajectory and don't believe it has lived upto Iqbal's dreams.

BTW Kashmiris have been fighting for independence since 1586, so they have always been freedom-loving people.

Why not LoC may be made the permanent border and do not let the armies of both the countries to flourish at the cost of the poverty stricken people of both Pakistan and India?
No, that's what the Indian gov would want, as Malcolm X famously said:
You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.

The best option would be to turn it into a state like Andorra and Kashmiris can travel between India and Pakistan freely, they would have their own identity and self-rule and if they want they could move to Pakistan for jobs & academia, have citizenship rights and they could do the same in India, i don't see an easy solution cause all 3 parties(including China) have big egos, so there has to be a unique solution that we've never seen before.

Smarty For the people of Kashmir, the so called "militants" are freedom fighters, Pakistan did support them but it always had a lot of grass root support.

The Indians like to call these rebels or freedom fighters "militants", but they aren't, the US put Nelson Mandela on it's terrorists lists up until recently, and he was a freedom fighter for the Blacks of South Africa, so one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter and as Malcolm X said:
You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.
