Search box ?

I am not sure if this is the correct category for this but we seriously need a search box(the text input field thingy) on this website .As a new member there is so lot I want to go through but it is just mess , a lot of mess.The threads aren't even categorized correctly .A search box will be highly appreciated so that members may get what they are looking for without going through hundreds of threads .
I can do a google search with the site: dork but not everybody knows this .Just an improvement advice (:

We do have a search mechanism. Next to new posts, click on search. You can search for posts and threads.
