Too many pages in a thread?

Though its my first day as a registered member on PF I coudnt help but notice that each of the pages of a PF thread is shorter (contains less posts) than what I see on other forums. From what I have heard, a longer page helps in two ways -
a) Reduces number of pages in a thread and increases visitor experience as you have to turn less pages since each page contains more posts.
b) Utilizes less space.
The second point might be debatable since I am hardly an IT expert but the first point seems to be valid.

Now I dont know how things work on the back-end for PF but I just thought I'd share this suggestion with the Mods and Admins and hopefully help improve this already brilliant forum.

use your control panel options. And you can change your option so you can see more posts per page.

Otherwise, use firefox. It has an add-on option that automatically loads next page for you while you are scrolling down.

Firstly, welcome to the forum, wrora! We're grateful you decided to be a part of a growing virtual Pukhtun community!

Secondly, that's a valid request, and I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to voice it. I myself think it'd be grand idea to let the members choose how many pages to view per thread (I've seen this on other forums, though I don't like to compare forums at all; each is good and important in its own way). For guest users, it would be a good idea, I think, to change the number of posts per page to, say, 20?

In that case, we'd have to request members to smallen the images/pictures they post because sometimes they're really big, and it's a pain scrolling down.

EDIT: I didn't know it was customized either :O Lemme try that, lol.

Yep! I just checked. The option's there for us to change the amount of posts we see per page. All's well!

For guest users, it may either be changed to a larger number to accommodate them OR they may have to register. Let's see what Admin thinks.
