    Salamoona Folks,

Thanks for the good times here. I came to reconnect with my people and met many good folks that give me hope.

To my detractors - my suspicion is that we still view eachother as brothers and that our discourse was as to very opinionated relatives discussing important issues.

Remember, the world moves on and oppression, war, famine, death - there are not new things. People have felt passionately since time immemorial about what they see as wrong in the world. Do not become depressed or compromise your values when you see the cyclical repititions of history in our times.

Above it all, the people I have met here have, by the grace of God, whatever their view may be, clean hands still. That is very important. Do your utmost to not get those clean hands blood stained as Shakespeare was probably right when he had his character lament: "Out spot out!" The idea there being that you change for the worse when you lose innocense in this way.

The best thing we can do for ourselves is to be as independent of governmental involvement as possible so that we can tell the truth as we see it, as much as possible. Never make yourself dependent on others or else your ability to tell the truth will be compromised. Pursue careers in which you will never have to hold your hand to anyone, but yet others can benefit from you.

During this year, starting tomorrow, my subspeciality training will intensify and I will have a massively increased work load - basically living in the hospital.

If there is anything I can provide for guidance - or if I can help tangibly with those that want to pursue a career path in medicine; do not hesitate to contact me through Admin Khan. He and 3 others have my contact information. I cannot gaurantee a rapid response - but inshallah it will come with time.

I will only update the medical thread from time to time when I get the chance as I am sure my new position will give me even more of a view into how the system works. I will not leave that project behind. However, I expect the new generation to take it over from me as they develop their own educational prowess.

All of my best regards and stay safe!

    Khodaay Pamaan!

I know people who work in emergency rooms and they eat big quantities of food and then go for 48+ hours without sleep.

So I'll wish you hours and hours of deep sleep in a cozy bed because I have the feeling that it's what you'll need the most.

Wa alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
                own inclinations and desires
