  • A Moment Of Thanks

    Dear Forum Members -

The new banner looks great and I'd like to take this opportunity on behalf of Admin Khan, the Mod Team and all the PashtunForums family to say a big thank you to Khushal Khan Khattak.

A brief explanation of the banner:

The mountains are actually the mountains of Kabul city, the capital of Pushtuns for such a long time.
The stars on the tree represents the four sons of Qees Abdur Rashid and so represents all the Afghan tribes
    The circle represents unity
The circle being white also represents Islam, so unity and faith together.

Please use this space to offer our respected member Khushal Khan Khattak your BIG thanks for his contribution to our forum.

Thanks Kushal Khan, we appreciate all your hard works in our community. You have been striving since day 1 to make this place the best forums in the internet. We sincerely appreciate your efforts.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I would just like to say one more thing, the intention of doing this was for the unity of all Pashtuns/Afghans.

The symbols are just an attempt for that unity, I would like to imagine and hope, that we here on PF would serve as the source of a brighter, unified and progressive successful future for all our people in Pakistan, Afghanistan and all over the world.

I hope and pray we serve as the building blocks of that unified future.
